I spend most of my time fixing things. Informed by my professional background in design and as a creative director, I leverage the manipulative nature of text and curated scenes to construct narratives and orchestrate interplay between past and present. My artistic practice revolves around celebrating the act of construction, where the unmistakable imprint of the maker remains an integral part of my work. Driven by my experiences with loss, my focus centers on processing grief and attachment through various forms of restoration. Rooted in memory, grief, and identity, my art highlights the transformative power of reframing family heirlooms and reappropriating pain, encouraging viewers to reassess identity and appreciate the embedded emotional resonance and potential transmutability of personal artifacts.
